Warren "Bud" Edward Jones

Mr. Warren “Bud” Edward Jones entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at his residence.  He was the son of the late Garland Jones and the late Laura Lewis Jones.

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 6, 2025, 12:00 noon at St. James AME Zion Church, Elizabeth City, North Carolina with Rev. Ernest Cole, Officiating.

“Bud” leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Nina Griffin (Kinta), Elizabeth City, North Carolina and Karmen Williams (Chrishone Sr.), Wilson, North Carolina; one son, Warren Marcus Jones, Wilson, North Carolina; two sisters, Robin Taylor, Elizabeth City, North Carolina and Vicki Mitchell (Darryl), Glen Burnie, Maryland; six grandchildren; one uncle, Ernell White, Elizabeth City, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The family will be accepting friends at his sister's residence, 1101 Goodwin Ave., Elizabeth City, North Carolina 27909  beginning September 3, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m.
