Velma Shepard Keys

Velma Keys, of Elizabeth City, NC, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Chesapeake, VA. Celebration of life will take place on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Grace and Truth Community Church at 2:00pm. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home of her granddaughter, Tameka Keys McPherson, 202 Princesses Anne Circle , Elizabeth City, NC. Mrs. Keys leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Debra Keys and Sherry Keys, both of Elizabeth City, NC; son, Charles Keys of Charlotte,NC; three grandchidren, Tameka Keys McPherson(Barrera), Ashley Keys and Jalisa Keys; great grandson, Antwonne Keys; sister, Bertha Butts (Martin); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
