Tim Earl James

Mr. Tim Earl James entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was the son of the late Jake James and the late Minnie Bennett James and the husband of the late Lillian Hollowell James. He was also predeceased by one son, Timothy A. James.

Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, June 8, 2025, 2:30 p.m. at St. Galilee Disciples of Christ with Elder Sharon Tate, Pastor/Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Dove’s Landing Cemetery, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Family visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Tim’s memory will forever be cherished by his three daughters, Arlisa Kirton, Norfolk, Virginia, Kisha Hartwick (Trevor), Greenville, South Carolina and Erica Culbreath (Edward), Herndon, Virginia; five grandchildren, Timothy, Jalen, Lily, Isaac and Isaiah; one sister, Minnie James, Elizabeth City, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
