Sylvia Davis

Sylvia Davis of Elizabeth City, NC entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 13, 2015 at her residence. Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 1 pm at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She will lie in state from 12 until time of service. Mrs. Sylvia Davis leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Miriam Patricia (Greg) Turner of Indianapolis, IN; Saabirah (Lavonia) Shabazz of Charlotte, NC, Fatimah (Renee) Mimrah of Spokane, WA; two sons, Gregory Horton of Highland Park, NJ and Warren Horton of Elizabeth City, NC; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley (Tinybaby) Williams and Brunetta Floyd; brother, David Sharp. Rivers Community funeral Home is expressing sympathy through sincere service to the Davis family.
