Shirley Beresford

Mrs. Shirley Beresford of 909 McPherson Street, Elizabeth City, NC, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her residence. Celebration of life will take place on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00am at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church. Viewing will take place at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8pm with the family receiving friends at the Fairfield Inn Hotel Meeting Room from 5:00-8:00pm. Mrs. Beresford leaves to cherish her memories: son,Kevon Beresford (Alyson) of Roselle,NJ; three brothers, William Gibbs (Dorothy),William Whidbee (Carolyn) both of Elizabeth City, NC and Lonnie Gibbs of Farmville,NC; two sisters, Catherine Jones (Clarence) and Carolyn Gibbs, both of Elizabeth City, NC; sister, Ida Mae Morris; special niece, Tiffany Gibbs; and a host of nieces,nephews, cousins and friends.
