Former Elizabeth City Mayor, Roger A. McLean, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Viewing will take place on Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 with the family receiving friends from 6:00-7:00 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. McLean leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Wanda McLean; six children, Stephanie Codgell of Raleigh, NC, Tim Harrell(Kim) of Garner, NC, Katyna Bunn(Gary) of Fuquay Varina, NC, Rogelyn McLean(Curtis Graham) of Washington, DC, Elaine McLean of Elizabeth City, NC and Roger A. McLean, Jr. of Queens, NY; mother, Nealie Bacote McLean; ten grandchildren; great granddaughter; sister, Dell Alford; two brothers, Ronald McLean and L.
