Mr. Robert L. Pierce, Sr. of 100 Linwood Dr, Elizabeth City, NC entered into eternal rest on Saturday June 11 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC. Celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, June 15 at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church at noon. He will lie in state from 11:00am until time of service. Viewing will take place on Tuesday from 4-7pm at Mount Carmel. The family will receive friends at his residence. Robert leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Francyne Williams Pierce; daughter, Shayla B. Pierce of Elizabeth City, NC; two sons, Robert Pierce, Jr (Keshia) of Greenville, NC and Keith Harding of Knightdale, NC; two grandchildren; three sisters, Alice Harris, Diane Brown and Evelyn Welch (Sonny); two brothers, Calvin Pierce and Alvin Pierce; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
