Reginald Oswald Short

Reginald O. Short, 57, was born in Brunswick, GA and raised in Virginia Beach, VA to the late Roosevelt and Dorothy Short.  He was educated in the Virginia Beach school system and attended Princess Anne High School. He worked as a landscaper for over 25 years at Quality Turf. His hobbies were watching the Redskins, spending time with family and playing with his grand kids.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Larry Short and Roosevelt E. Short, Jr. “Bubba”.

Reginald leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Jacqueline B. Short; six children, Reginald Hill, Tawanda Hill, Tabitha Witaker, Cedric Brockett (Janay), Dominique Chamblee and Romell Chamblee (Tynisa); four siblings, Alethea Daigre, Valerie Short-Hyman, Linda Wiggins and Robert Short (Patricia); two brother-in-laws that he loved so much, Eugene Hyman and Robert Brockett; 17 grandchildren, Meneja, Malik, Mekhi, Javier, Sanai, Annaysia, Jayceon, An’niylaa, Destini, Detrion, Dominique Jr., Ro’Shae’, Ro’shira, Romell, Tymell, Lasavior and Tariq; six aunts; four uncles; mother-in-law, Adell M. Brocektt; a special CNA and Med Tech, Janay Dixon and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, a great-great niece, cousins and friends.
