Mr. Rashford Everald Leslie entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his residence with his loving wife by his side. He was the son of the late Sanford Leslie and the late Florance Scott and the husband of Mary D. Cole Leslie of the home.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Rashford leaves to cherish his memory his wife Mary Devet Cole Leslie, Mary’s daughter, Quinn Tresa Boyd and her children, Naj’harae Neal, Patience Thomas (Patience son – Desmond Hardy, Jr), Peyton Saunders, Camron Saunders, and Christian Saunders; Mary’s son, Travon Thomas (Travon’s son – Raiden Travon Thomas), Rashford’s brothers, Neville and Corney Leslie; his sister, June Leslie; Rashford’s children Warren and Joy; his grandchildren, Michael Evans, Sonja and Ruel Grant, Yolanda Morales, Sandy Morales, Guja Morales, Edwin Morales, Brianna Morales, Ian Morales; Sean and Cathy Evans, Ulysses Edwards, Arnold and Kim White, and their mother, Harriett Evans-Buchanan; his niece Samantha and her son Aidan, and a host of great-grandchildren, great grand- nieces and great grand nephews.
