Phillip Dance

Phillip Dance, 73, of 913 Hunter Street, Elizabeth City, NC, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at his residence. Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 4:00 -6:00 p.m. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of the deceased. Phillip leaves to cherish his loving memories; loving wife, Margaret Dance of the home; two daughters, Phyllis Dance Brooks and Carllisa Dance Johnson, both of Elizabeth City, NC; five sons, George Dance (Sarah) of Buffalo, NY, Wilton Ferebee (Kathy) of Hampton, VA, Kenneth Perkins of Elizabeth City, NC, Marvin Perkins of Tampa, Fl and Curtis Perkins of Elizabeth City, NC; one sister, Annie Barnette of Douglas, Ga; one brother, Thomas Dance of El Paso, Tx; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
