Nicholas Cowell, Sr., 59, of 146 McKimmey Road, Camden, NC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at his residence. Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at New Sawyers Creek Missionary Baptist Church at 12:00 noon. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8pm. The family will receive friends at his residence. Nick leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Deborah J. Cowell; two daughters, Tanisha S. Cowell, Fairbanks, Ga. and Yvonneda Jenkins (Montell), Charlotte, NC; son, Nicholas Cowell, Jr.(Elisabeth) of Camden, NC; nine grandchildren; seven sisters, Zanetta Taylor (Rodney), Gail Butts (Oscar), Debra Cowell, Antoinette Cowell, Angela Cowell, Dirlene Cannon and Shirlene Cowell; five brothers, Caldwell Cowell, Jr, Larry Cowell (Erma), Willis Cowell (Joanne), Dale Cowell (Angela) and Anthony Cowell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
