Myrtle L. Johnson of Elizabeth City, NC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City. Celebration of life will take place on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 am. She will lie in state from 10:00 am until time of service. Viewing will take place at Corner Stone from 5:00-8:00 with family receiving friends from 6:45 until 8:00pm. Myrtle leaves to cherish: daughter, Sharnetta Johnson of Elizabeth City, NC; three grandchildren; siblings, Ziner J. Alexander, Julius E. Johnson and Zachary Johnson; aunt, Thelma Crippen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
