Maybelle (Morris) Adams

Maybelle Morris Adams entered eternal rest on April 3, 2023 at Sentara Albemarle Medical
Center, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Elliott Morris and the
late Annie Taylor Morris and the widow of the late Mr. Ben Adams. She was also predeceased
by one brother, William Morris; two sisters, Daisy Privott and Mary Taylor and two daughters,
Gladys White and Mattie Newsome.

Celebration of Life Services will be Monday, April 10, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at New Calvary
Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, North Carolina with Dr. Bonzia Caison as
Pastor/Eulogist. Interment will be in the Westlawn Cemetery, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Viewing/visitation will be Sunday, April 9, 2023 from 5 – 7 pm at Beach River Funeral Home,
Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Masks are still required for all services.

Maybelle leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Terry Robertson and Darleen Wilson, both
of Raleigh, North Carolina; four sons, Lloyd Morris (Alief), Newbern, North Carolina, David
Morris and Tyrone Morris (Carolyn), both of Elizabeth City, North Carolina and Samuel Morris
(Villa), Brooklyn, New York; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great and great-great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
