Marjorie Griffin Clapp, of Bowie, Md, formerly of Elizabeth City, NC. entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Larkin Chase Health Center, Bowie, Md. Celebration of life will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m. The family will also be recieving friends at the home of Rev. McPherson, 1489 Northside Rd., Elizabeth City, NC. Rivers Community Funeral Home is expressing sympathy through sincere service to the Clapp family.
