Mrs. Maggie Lucille Davis Williams, retired educator, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at her residence in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Walter A. Davis and the late Mattie Gregory Davis.
Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, July 17, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon A.M.E. Zion Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina with Rev. Javan Leach, Pastor/Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Dove’s Landing Cemetery in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. A viewing/visitation will be Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Maggie leaves to cherish her fond memories: one sister, Ruby Brumsey of Elizabeth City, North Carolina and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will be receiving friends at her sister’s residence, 1300 Lowe St., Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
