Mabel Leigh Overton

Deaconess Mabel Leigh Overton of 901 S. Halstead Blvd, Elizabeth City, NC entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Facility. Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Galatia Missionary Baptist Church, Hertford, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home Sunday, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends at those times. Mabel leaves to cherish her loving memories; one son, Gregory Wilson, Sr., of Elizabeth City, NC; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Rivers Community Funeral Home is expressing sympathy through sincere service to the Overton family.
