Leon Melvin Holley, Sr.

Leon Melvin Holley, Sr. entered eternal rest on December 13, 2022 at Sentara Albemarle Medical
Center, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He was the son of the late John Holley and the late
Louise Wilson Holley. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Ervin and Edward Holley and
one sister, Dorothy Holley Boyd.

Memorial Services will be Sunday, December 18, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Beach River Funeral Home
Chapel, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Leon leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Pauline H. Holley, of the home; three sons, Leon
Holley, Jr., Portsmouth, Virginia, Jerome Holley, Andover, Massachusetts, and Rhontel Hayes
(Jasmine), Arlington, Virginia; one daughter, Rhonda Hayes, Elizabeth City, North Carolina; five
grandchildren; nieces, great nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
