Lee Edison Billups, Sr.

Mr. Lee Edison Billups, Sr. entered eternal rest on Monday, May 27, 2024 at his residence in Chesapeake, Virginia.  He was the son of the late Llewellyn Billups and the late Beatrice Morris Billups.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evangelist Ernestine Wiggins Billups, three sisters, Marybelle Billups Barnett, Louise Billups Turner, Margaret Billups Lewis and one brother Ellyn Billups.

Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, June 6, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Garden of Prayer Worship Center, Norfolk, Virginia.  Interment will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, Virginia.  A viewing/visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Beach River Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Lee leaves to cherish his memory one son, Lee Edison Billups, Jr. (Crystal), Chesapeake, Virginia, one sister,  Shirley Brown and one brother, Shelton Billups (Sandra), both of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Casey S. Billups, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Lamar Lee Billups (Jaleesa), Virginia Beach, Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
