Kenneth Owens, Jr.

Mr. Kenneth Owens Jr. of 100 Tiara Ct. Elizabeth City, NC entered into eternal rest on July 20,2017 at his residence after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Kenneth Owens, Jr., was born Mary 24, 1954 in Princess Anne County to the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Virginia Owens. 

Kenneth “Ken” was a very kind person, who enjoyed riding his bike and cleaning cars.

He is survived by his four sisters, Jeannette "Jane" Harris, Plummateen Owens, Pauline Owens, all of Virginia Beach; Marlene Owens Jacobs of Elizabeth City, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; a special nephew, Mr. Rodney Jacobs; and a special friend, Ms. Dede Washington of Norfolk.

Celebration of Life Services  will take place on Thursday July 27,2017 at 12noon at Horton & Sanderlin Funeral and Cremation Services 310 East Grice Street Elizabeth City, NC with Rev. Dr. John C. Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at 100 Tiara Ct Elizabeth City, NC

Mr.Owen's remains rest in the care and comfort of Horton & Sanderlin Funeral and Cremation Services of Elizabeth City, NC.
