Mr. Kelvin L. Franklin, 51, of 800 Maple Street, Elizabeth City, NC, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Museum of the Albemarle. "Franklin" leaves to cherish his loving memories; loving wife, Dorothy H. Franklin of the home; one son, KJ Franklin of Virginia; mother, Era Mae Gordon of Winfall, NC; one sister, Kimetha Turner of California; two brothers, Earl R. Payne (Christina) of Arizona and Rodney Gordon (Diane) of Belvidere, NC; mother and father in law, Jake and Glennie Harney of Elizabeth City, NC; special godson, Jakeeyl Harney of Elizabeth City, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
