Mr. John Chavies of 639 Crooked Run Road, Elizabeth City, NC, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Chavies leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Joyce Chavies; two daughters, Kentra Elaine Chavies and Krystal Shanetta Chavies all of Elizabeth City, NC; three sisters, Phyllis Chavies, Janet Chavies Jones(King) and Eva Chavies; two brothers, Wendell Chavies and Calvin Chavies; four grandchildren; six sister in laws; four brother in laws; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
