James Lee Bryant, Sr.

Rev. James Lee Bryant, Sr. pastor of Living Temple Ministry Church in Center Moriches, New York entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, New York.  He was the son of the late Versie Bryant and the husband of Martha D. Williams Bryant of the home.

A Homegoing Celebration will be Sunday, June 28, 2026, 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  A viewing/visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 5:00-7 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 59 Anchor St. (Flanders), Riverhead, NC 11901 with Pastor Maryann McElory, Presiding.

In addition to his wife Rev. Bryant leaves to cherish his memory three sons, James Bryant, Houston, Texas, Eddie (Jen)Bryant and Marcus Bryant (Vicki deceased) both of Cener Moriches, New York; two daughters, Kimberly (David) Okotie, Humble, Texas and Veronica”Rabbit” Michaux, Elizabeth City, North Carolina; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; two brothers-in- law, four sisters-in- law, two aunts-in-law; five god-children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
