Ida L. Morris of 409 W. Broad Street, Elizabeth City, NC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Winslow Memorial Home. Celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 12:00 at Saint James AME Zion Church. Viewing will take place at funeral home from 4:00-8:00pm. Family will receive friends at her residence. Mrs. Morris leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Rosetta Morris Foster, Winston Salem, NC; five sons, Roy Morris(Norma Jean) of Elizabeth City, NC, Thomas Morris(Saundra) of Louisburg, NC, Mickey Morris of Elizabeth City, NC, Ronald Morris(Susan) of Hertford, NC and Arthur Morris of Elizabeth City, NC; and a host of grandchildren, great grands, great great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
