Godfrey Warnell Riddick

Mr. Godfrey W. Riddick 81, of 131 Lilly Road, South Mills, NC entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Kindred Nursing Facility. Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Friday, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Terence Riddick, at 1311 Lincoln Street, Elizabeth City, NC. Mr. Riddick leaves to cherish his loving memories; two daughters, Frances Mercer (Connie) and Sandra White (Eddie) both of Elizabeth City, NC; three sons, Linton Riddick (Denise) of South Mills, NC, Terence Riddick (Shawn) of Elizabeth City, NC and Kendell Riddick (Candice) of Raleigh, NC; seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lessie Griffin, Clarine Small and Aldonia Griffin; one brother, Walter Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
