Mr. George L. Moore, 70, of 199 Main Street, Winfall, NC, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Winfall, N.C. A viewing will take place at the church on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased. George leaves to cherish his loving memories: one daughter, Patsy Moore Beasley (Mario R.) of Winston-Salem, NC; two sons, Anthony Jordan (Veronica) and George L. Moore (Da'Nell) both of Hertford, NC; two step-daughters, Veronica Darden (Eric) of Belvidere, NC and Dyrel Nowell of Winfall, NC; one step-son, Clinton Skinner of Orlando, Fl; three sisters, Naomi Hyder of Atlanta, GA, Brenda Simpson and Elinda Spicer (Felix) both of Winfall, NC; four brothers, Calvin Moore (Castle) of Upper Marlboro, Md, Rev. Donald Moore of Dover, De, Rev. Joseph Moore of Elizabeth City, NC and Linward Moore (Japina) of Missouri City, Tx; two aunts, Alice Felton and Betty Johnson both of Winfall, NC; one uncle, James White of Winfall, NC; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
