Eula James Etheridge

Mrs. Eula James Etheridge of 496 New Road, Elizabeth City, NC entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Sentara Norfolk General. Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Mt. Lebanon AME Zion Church at 12:00 noon. The viewing will take place on Wednesday from 4-8:00pm with family receiving friends from 5-7pm at Whiteville Grove AME Zion church. Mrs. Etheridge leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, LoraAnn Barclift(Wayne)and Eula Reid(Melvin) both of Elizabeth City, NC; two sons, Hercules Etheridge Jr.(Quandetta) of Portsmouth, Va. and Michael Etheridge(Pamela) of Camden, NC; sisters, Jennie Freshwater(Horace)and Doris Greene; brothers, Johnnie James(Louise)and Gaither James(Frances); fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends Rivers Community Funeral Home is expressing sympathy through sincere service to the Etheridge family.
