Effie Belle Cooper

Effie Belle Blount Cooper, of 404 Shadneck Road, Elizabeth City, NC entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City, NC. Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased. Effie leaves to cherish her loving memories; two daughters, Rosa Cole (Otis) and Essie Cooper of Elizabeth City, NC; three sons, Elbert Cooper, Jr., (Yvonne) of Elizabeth City, NC, Lee Ernest Cooper (Angela) of Mt. Vernon, NY and Melvin Cooper of Elizabeth City, NC; seventeen grandchildren; and a host great and great-great grandchildren.
