Dian Alverta Hoskins Eason entered eternal rest on Monday, April 8, 2024 at her residence in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Earl Corient Hoskins and the late Gertrude Marie Saunders Hoskins and the wife of James Edward Eason of the home.
Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, April 13, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, North Carolina with Apostle Beverly Mercer as Eulogist. Interment will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. A viewing/visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2024, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In addition to her husband of fifty-seven years, she leaves to cherish her precious memory, two children, Ricky Hoskins (Carol) of Elizabeth City, NC and Pamela Eason Quick (Lee) of Wake Forest, NC.; two sisters, Apostle Beverly Mercer (Rev. Chabra Mercer, Sr), and Kathy Greene (Pastor Roger Greene) both of Elizabeth City, NC.; two brothers, Rev. Edmond Hoskins Sr. (Rev. Elnora Hoskins) of Elizabeth City, NC, and Elder Elliott Hoskins Sr. (Alaina) of Waldorf, MD.; three grandchildren, Tamera Watson, Adarryl Williams and Brendan Quick; five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and two special friends, Mrs. Anne Griffin and Mrs. Thelma Stokely.
