Constance Fenton Brice “GG”, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, August 17, 2025. She was born in Springfield, Ohio in 1938 to the late Firman Edward Fenton and the late Mable Long Fenton and was the wife of the late Robert Daniel Brice
After moving from Florida to North Carolina she attended Weeksville School and College of The Albemarle after which she became a Ward Secretary at the former Albemarle Hospital, presently Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.
Connie was involved in many activities in her lifetime. She also worked at H & R Block and Powells Market, retiring in the 70’s from both. In addition, she managed Nectars (Mighty Mint) in Hertford, North Carolina. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 288 in Coinjock, North Carolina and a member of the Dogwood Home Extension Club in Coinjock, North Carolina.
Leaving to cherish her memory are three daughters, Debbie Harris (Martie), Edenton, North Carolina, Dianna Marsh (Tony), Hertford, North Carolina and Nila Vannoy, Currituck, North Carolina, one daughter-in-law, Mary Harrell, Troutman, North Carolina; one son, Danny Brice (Sharon), Ashville, North Carolina; one sister, Vicky Doxey, Suffolk, Virginia; grandchildren, Johnny & Jeremy Morris, Tabitha Morgan, April Brooks, Erica Eddy, James Harrell, Jr., Samantha Jarrett, James Harden, Jessica Powers, Bryan Johnson, Christine Marsh, Zadie Templeton, Toni Tenda, David Brice, Wendy Brice, Tori Brice, and JJ Brice; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Tiera, Kristina, Brandon, JR, Taylia, Kahlynn, AJ, Karleigh, Zack, Drake, Kameron, Kylan, Chole, Harley, Kinzlee, Houston, Maverick, Axel, Victoria, Hope and James; great great-grandchildren, Braxton, Lennox and Logan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, James Harrell and John Brice; daughter, Edna Powers; sons-in-law, Henry Powers and Randy Vannoy; grandson, Michael Harris; granddaughter Sabrina Johnson; sister, Bonnie Bundy; and brothers, Ronnie and Timmy Fenton.
A Memorial Service will be Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Beach Funeral Home Chapel, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
