Audrey Griffin Basnight

Audrey Griffin Basnight, of Elizabeth City, NC, has entered into eternal rest on April 2, 2015, at Kindred Nursing Facility. Celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Holy Trinity Community Church at 1:00pm. Viewing will take place on Monday from 4:00-8:00 at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at her son's residence, Wayne Griffin, 119 Dennis Drive, Elizabeth City, NC. Audrey leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Audrey Nell Sawyer (James) and Ruby Abbott(Jarvis); two sons, Glenn Basnight and Wayne Griffin(Wilma) all of Elizabeth City, NC; nine grandchildren; host of great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
